Join us in the celebration of the 24th annual Cherry Blossom Festival on Sunday, May 1, 2016. This important community event has raised thousands of dollars each year for a variety of worthy organizations. For the past six years, the centerpiece fundraiser at the festival has been the 5K Race for ALS and 2K Walk for Hope, whose proceeds from race entries and generous sponsors primarily benefit the St. Peters Regional ALS Center. The race has continued to grow each year, with over 800 participants in 2015.
This year we will be expanding our family festival to include a slide, a bounce house/obstacle course, pony rides, and a dunk tank along with breakfast and lunch foods including hot dogs, corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, kettle corn, and more.
Also, for the first time, we will be holding our own version of “May Madness!!”, a Cornhole tournament for adults of all ages (>12 years old). 32 two person teams will compete for prizes and the Cherry Blossom Cornhole Championship. Just find a partner and sign up TODAY!! The brackets are filling quickly.

Cornhole is a game which is best described as Horse Shoes played with Bean(Corn) Bags. Each two person teams throws 4 bags filled with corn at a target 27 feet away from them. Each team member alternates throws with the other team and scores points points by throwing the bag through the target hole or landing a bag on the Cornhole target board. Equal point throws from each team cancel points for the other team and each round of tosses (inning) scores points only for the team with more points in that round. A game ends when one team reaches 21 points or at the completion of 5 innings where the team with the most points is the winner. For more information on the game of Cornhole go to the website of the American Cornhole Association
